First produced in 1937, Suntory Kakubin Blended Japanese Whisky, continues to be packages in its original and distinctive turtle shell patterned decanter. Kakubin means 'square bottle'.

This Japanese Whisky is a bright, deep gold colour. The nose opens with subtle grain and sourdough bread aromas, followed by orchard fruits and vanilla. Maybe even a whisper of smoke. The palate starts light, if not creamy, to a mildly fruity, dried grass, and gentle spicy mid palate. Finishes deliciously juice.
