Returns
Returns are accepted if you receive a different item than what was described. If you receive an incorrect item you are to notify us immediately. We will then give you our return address. You are to return the incorrect item to our return address ASAP. Once we have received the returned item from you we will contact you regarding the issue. It will then be up to you to decide whether you would like us to post out the correct item or just refund you in full. We may approve a return in other circumstances at our own discretion.
IMPORTANT: BUYER is responsible for checking the parcel on arrival in front of the mail man. If the bottle/s is damaged upon arrival, please refuse the parcel and a refund will be sent to buyer (ex postage to buyer) after the damaged parcel has been received. However if buyer wishes for a replacement, it will be sent out after the original damaged parcel has been received with its contents still inside. Please also take photographic evidence if this does occur and message us via our email at dls@dicksonliquorstore.com promptly. LIQUOR LICENSE:14005678.
Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence. To supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (Penalty exceeds 8,000).
For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor. (Penalty exceeds $700).
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like opened spirits (consumed liquors), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
